“I want bullfighter girls,” cheered their teacher, Sandra Rivera, before starting their Paso Doble music. “Let me see a beautiful position… Enjoy yourselves!”

Emily Fisher Landau donated over 400 pieces of bold American Artwork to The Whitney Museum of American Art – on display now. She began her love of forward-thinking art as a volunteer at The Whitney almost 50 years ago. When they collected, she collected, and now the Whitney is offering anyone in New York City the opportunity to see one collector’s vision in one space. The Emily Fisher Landau exhibit is on now though May, but many of her works will still be displayed on the walls of the Whitney.
